Who is Dr.Melaxin?

Dr.Melaxin is a Korean skincare brand built around exfoliation and skin renewal. Its formulations are unusually specific about concentrations — 460,000ppm of Guérande sea salt in the body scrub, 10,000ppm of SUN Oyster Pep in the renewal ampoule — which is a reasonable proxy for a brand that expects to be judged on its ingredient list rather than its packaging.

The Peel Shot line

Peel Shot is the brand's exfoliation range. Two of the products Skinoré carries sit in it: the Black Rice Mochi Whip Cleanser and the Glow Rice Ampoule Duo. The through-line is grain-free exfoliation — acids and rice extracts doing the work that a physical scrub would otherwise do, at a strength intended to stay tolerable for sensitive skin.
